Admiralty Park, 2nd

Sharing some macro photos taken at Admiralty Park. Admiralty Park is one of my favourite macro shooting area. You can find a lot of bugs here, mainly different species of dragonfly. For those who are newly shooting macro, I highly recommend you to visit this park. The dragonflies here do not move a lot. You should starts around the pond next to Sakura International Buffer Restaurant where most of the dragonflies are found.

This is really a fruitful trip.

Dairy Farm Nature Park, 1st

Sharing some macro photos taken at Dairy Farm Nature Park. The weather is good. This is our first visit so we've decided to start at the Wallace Trail (the nearest from the entrance of car park B). Dairy Farm Nature Park is one of my best macro shooting area I've been. There are lots of bugs and mainly are different species of grasshopper.

One mistake I've made from this trip was the shutter speed. I've previously set to 1/100 and didn't notice until back home when I evaluate the pictures. I usually use shutter speed of 1/180 to 1/250 for macro. That's why about 30% of the pictures having hand-shake blur. This lesson teaches me to check all settings before shooting.
